Rx ROOF REPAIR SOLVENT FREE

Application is limited to certain substrates, including SBS and
APP-modified bitumen, aluminum, metal, silicone coatings,
and acrylic coatings. Application over modified bitumen or
asphalt requires the use of a bleed blocking primer.

Rx Roof Repair Eterna-Sil Perma-Patch can be applied over properly prepared surfaces that exhibit ponded water, however, The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) considers ponding water an undesirable non-standard roofing practice and recommends that all roof systems be designed and built to ensure positive drainage. The substrate should be clean, stable, and free of any
loose materials, grease, or other contaminants that could
compromise the product’s performance.
Apply RX ROOF REPAIR SOLVENT FREE in a uniform layer
to ensure thorough coverage, typically in a single application.
For multiple applications, allow one hour of curing time
between layers before applying additional material. The
final cured thickness must be free of voids, pinholes, cracks,
or blisters. See application specification for more details.

Rx Roof Repair can be applied by trowel, stiff brush or putty knife. For cold weather application, keep material stored above 70°F (21.1°C). Do not apply to substrates with temperatures below freezing or above.

Rx ROOF REPAIR SOLVENT FREE is UV stable. No top coat is required. It is not intended to be painted or covered over with any product other than Tropical Roofing Products’ Silicone Roof Coatings.

RX ROOF REPAIR SOLVENT FREE becomes tack-free
in approximately one hour under ambient conditions 70°F
(21.1°C) and 50% relative humidity. Drying time depends on
temperature, humidity, and film thickness. As a moisture cure
product, low humidity will extend cure times.

Store the container in an upright position to prevent damage.
Store in a clean, dry location and cover as necessary to
protect from temperatures below 0°F (-17°C) and above
200°F (93°C). Approximate shelf life is 18 months from date
of manufacture when properly stored and sealed.
